At Advanced Food Science Pvt. Ltd., our foundation is built on three decades of expertise in the food and agricultural sectors, uncompromising quality standards, and strong relationships with global markets.
Headquartered in Kolkata, India, we are a leading manufacturer, importer, and merchant exporter of premium food and agricultural products. Our product portfolio includes Basmati, Non-Basmati, and aromatic rice varieties, pure spices, pulses, culinary herbs, oilseeds, dry fruits, and fresh and dehydrated vegetables. As a merchant exporter, we source and supply a wide range of products according to our customers’ specific requirements. In addition, we import various food, agricultural, and other products from international markets to meet the evolving needs of our customers and business partners.
Our journey began in 1995 as Orion International, a proprietorship firm dedicated to sourcing and distributing authentic Indian food and agricultural products. Guided by a vision to promote India’s agricultural excellence across the world, the business was incorporated as Advanced Food Science Pvt. Ltd. in 2005. Since then, we have grown into a trusted global trading and sourcing organization, connecting India’s finest agricultural producers with buyers across international markets.

You need 5kg retail packs with Japanese labelling, or 25-tonne bulk orders in jute bags. We sort it. Tell us your spec and we will build the order around it - not around what is convenient for us.
